Heath Bunting in conversation with Dr. Harriet Hawkins

Artist Heath Bunting will be in conversation with Geographer Dr. Harriet Hawkins exploring the socio-political and power structures that inform cartography and mapmaking in this panel discussion. Organised in response to the current exhibition.

The Whose Map is it? exhibition presents nine contemporary international artists, questioning the underlying structures and hierarchies that inform traditional mapmaking. They provide individual insights that inscribe new, often omitted perspectives onto the map. From 2 June until 24 July 2010.
