David Adjaye formed his practice Adjaye/Associates in 2000 and quickly built a reputation as an architect with an artistic vision. Early works include private commissions from some of Britain's most celebrated visual artists including Chris Ofili, with whom he designed the British contribution to the Venice Biennale in 2003.
The LxWxH limited edition is a conceptualisation of Adjaye's installation of the same title which physically mapped the site of the, at that time, future home of Iniva and Autograph ABP: Rivington Place. LxWxH broadens the tangible, physical elements of construction and explores architecture's spiritual and emotional aspects, encouraging visitors to embark on a journey of their own.
