Focusing on British artists past and present, the Landscape and Portraiture Education Packs explore various overlapping themes, which introduce teachers and students to the work of contemporary British artists from different cultural backgrounds.

Landscape is discussed in terms of national identity and the ways in which it evokes memories of travel and conquest as well as fears and desires, through works by Constable, Vong Phaophanit and Ingrid Pollard among others.

These packs are for secondary schools and contain colour slides, teachers' notes and worksheets for students which relate to the National Curriculum for Art and Key Stages 3 and 4.
