During her placement at the National Library of Jamaica Maxine Miller, Library and Information Manager, worked with the Executive Director and library staff of NLJ to create Picture Dis: The National Online Album of Jamaica.
Picture Dis is part of the digital collection of the National Library of Jamaica. The National Online Album of Jamaica is a digital image collection of the people, places, and products of Jamaica, organised by the fourteen parishes of Jamaica. In keeping with the aims and objectives of the National Library of Jamaica, Picture Dis reflects, preserves and promotes Jamaica’s history and heritage and aims to give more access to National Library material.
