New home for the engage collection

resources for art and gallery education now accessible at Iniva

|

engage and Iniva

engage, the National Association for Gallery Education and Iniva are delighted to be working in partnership.  The engage Resource, a unique collection of material related to gallery and arts education has been re-housed in the Stuart Hall Library in Iniva's new building.  This initiative will enable material to be added to the Resource, in particular building on its international and cultural diversity aspects.  The collection will also become more accessible.

The engage Resource

The engage Resource includes books, reports, research and teaching materials providing a practical and theoretical background to gallery education practice.  Importantly, the Resource includes engage's own publications - a twice yearly journal and reports from its programmes such as envision and enquire.

A new home at Iniva (http://www.iniva.org/)

The Resource will retain its own identity within Iniva's library and be housed in Iniva for an initial period.  engage members will continue to have access to the collection, as well as new audiences using the Stuart Hall Library.

engage Event

An event to mark the new home of the engage collection will take place Thursday 5th June where engage members are invited to Iniva for a welcome evening and tour of the library to view the collection.
