InIVA's season of exhibitions and events sets out to present the work of a number of artists who have translated modernism into different languages, cultures and idioms. Rather than trying to 'fill in the gaps' of contemporary art history or map out 'alternative' histories, inIVA is presenting individual stories that unfold in the work of artists whose ideas and artworks are meshed into the history of modern art.
