Dr Theodore Zeldin is a fellow and former dean of St Anthony's College, Oxford. He has been hailed as "one of the forty world figures whose ideas are likely to have a lasting relevance to the new millennium". In recent years he focused on analyzing historical moments, such as the Reformation, when the impossible was made possible. In his book, An Intimate History of Humanity, he connects some of those radical shifts to current modes of thinking. He has been awarded the Wolfson Prize for History and is an elected member of the European Academy.
