Cai Yuan

Yuan Cai grew up in China during Mao's cultural revolution. He lives in London, where he collaborated with Jian Jun Xi on a number of 'artistic interventions' in museums and gallery spaces. The most famous of which are to urinate in Marcel Duchamp's Urinal and a jump on Tracey Emin's Bed. Together they have fuelled artistic debate and tried to resurrect and "celebrate the spirit of modern art."
