Mitra Tabrizian
Biography
mitra tabrizian is a photographer and filmmaker. She has exhibited widely & in major international institutions including Victoria & Albert Museum, London - ICA London - Museum of Photography', Tokyo, - New Museum of Modern Art, NY.
Her two short films 'Journey of No Return' ('93 BFI) + 'The Third Woman' ('91 GlA & BFI) have been screened internationally at festivals and museums. Her photographic work has been in public collections including 'Victoria & Albert Museum', London, UK; Arts Council of Great Britain; 'Institute of Contemporary Art', Boston, USA; 'Alvar Aalto Museum', Finland; 'Museum of Folkwang', Essen, Germany
