Sewell Mary

Mary Sewell is a Londoner and has been a Hackney resident for 25 years. For most of that time, she has enjoyed a membership of the Hackney Society, for whom she has guided tours and provided written information. She has guided groups in many parts of the British Isles, but is delighted that interest in East London is steadily increasing, which means she can introduce visitors to her neighbourhood. She finds the economic theme of these tours particularly appealing, as she studied urban and economic geography at the London School of Economics.
