Delhi-based Raqs Media Collective is a collective of media practitioners whose interdisciplinary practices include: new media, film, photography, media theory and research, criticism and curation. Members of the collective include Jeebesh Bagchi, Monica Narula and Shuddhabrata Sengupta.

Raqs sees its work as opening out a series of investigations with image, sound, software, objects, performance, print, text and lately, curation, that straddle different affective and aesthetic registers, expressing an imaginative unpacking of questions of identity and location, a deep ambivalence towards modernity and a quiet but consistent critique of the operations of power and property.

Raqs co-curated the 2008 Manifesta 7 Biennale  (19 July - 2 Nov 2009)

Newly commissioned work The Surface of Each Day is a Different Planet can be seen from 4 September to 27 December 2009 at Tate Britain. Follow the link under Find out more.
