Jayne Parker is a film-maker and artist. She studied at Canterbury College of Art and the Slade School of Art in London. Exhibitions include Sign of the Times, MOMA, Oxford (1990) and Elective Affinities, Tate Gallery, Liverpool (1993). Crystal Aquarium, a film was screened in 1995 at the 39th London Film Festival and awarded the Grand Prize at the 43rd International Short Film Festival, Oberhausen 1997. Parker is currently working on an Arts Council funded film called Corde Lisse and a touring exhibition - a series of films with the cellist Anton Lukoszevieze - commissioned by Spacex Gallery, Exeter. She teaches at the Slade School of Art, UCL, London.
