Fernando Palma Rodriguez

For his solo exhibition 'Mechatronic Circus' Fernando Palma Rodriguez constructed temperamental robotic creatures that demand his attention beyond their construction and programming. Conferring upon them a mystic dimension, Palma Rodriguez challenges the assumption of technology's status outside relational aesthetics. In 2002 Palma Rodriguez curated a show of the Japanese artists Miwa Kojama and Takuro Mikame at the 198 Gallery in London. The artist lives and works in London.
