Charlie Weinberg has been writing poetry since she was a child. Her poems have been published online and in Inside Out, the literary magazine designed to encourage creativity and expression for personal development. As Joyful Noise, Charlie has performed at Farrago Slams, Apples and Snakes open mic nights, an International Women's Day event at Toynbee Hall and in Brooklyn (regular slot at Food for Thought Cafe 2006), and as writer in residence for the Democracy Begins in Conversation programme, Johannesburg (2006). Charlie has run an adult writing group for adults with addiction and mental health issues and has worked with young people for over twenty years in a variety of contexts.
Charlie works as an arts practitioner and is currently training in her MA in Art and Media Practice at Westminster University.
