Steve McQueen

The artist and filmmaker Steve McQueen studied at Chelsea School of Art and Goldsmiths College, London. He completed studies at Tisch School of the Arts, New York University. McQueen works primarily with film, using both 16mm and 35mm formats and video. His films make reference and simultaneously question the conventions of cinema. He lives in London and Amsterdam.
