Marc Latamie

Latamie has lived and worked in New York City since 1987. He draws his inspiration neither from French mystique, nor from nostalgic ideas of an ancestral culture. Exemplary for his thought is a series of poetic assemblages begun in the early 90s, consisting for instance of several wire-structures, empty metal buckets, stacks of paintings combined with neon letterforms.
