Keith Khan is an award-winning artist, whose recent commissions include Director of Design for the opening and closing ceremonies of the Commonwealth Games 2002, and Artistic Director of Celebration Commonwealth, for the Queen's Jubilee Parade in Central London, June 2002.
In 1990 Khan and Ali Zaidi founded the London based motiroti. The company is led by a groupe of artists who make use of a wide range of artistic practices, such as photography, architecture, new technology, performance and film.
Until 2007 he was Chief Executive of Rich Mix a cultural insitiute in Bethnal Green, East London. He is now Head Of Culture for London 2012.
