Althea Greenan is Special Collections Curator at the Women's Art Library (Make) at Goldsmiths. Historically rooted in gender politics and the subsequent emergence of a radicalised women's art practice and feminist art criticism, WAL/Make is an exciting ‘work in progress'. Now based in Goldsmiths, University of London it is being developed as a key special collection by the Library.
She takes part in Iniva's discussion Archives: a work in progress, aiscussion on the 'institutionalisation' of art and the role of the archive in documenting recent art histories. This event accompanies exhibition Document / Image/ Memory: treasures from the Iniva Archive, 1 - 12 February 2011.
