Chohreh Feyzdjou

The Iranian-born artist Chohreh Feyzdjou had her first solo exhibition in 1988 in Paris. Her installations are investigations in the materiality of experience. It is a very dark ouevre, in every sense of the word, sometimes covering everything with a layer of black glue and pigment. It is a work that 'speaks of its making'; where making is, in a sense, also its subject.
