Gaye Chan
Curriculum Vitae
Gaye Chan was born in Hong Kong and immigrated to the United States in 1969. She received her Master of Fine Art degree from San Francisco Art Institute and is currently a professor of photography at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Chan has been actively exhibiting her work since 1979 and has had recent solo exhibitions at venues such as Art in General (New York City), YYZ (Toronto), Artspeak (Vancouver), Gallery 4A (Sydney), SF Camerawork (San Francisco) and The Contemporary Museum (Honolulu).
