Ricardo Basbaum

Ricardo Basbaum was born in Sao Paolo, Brazil, in 1961. He is working as artist and writer in Rio de Janeiro. Between 1993 and 1994 he completed an MA in Fine Art at Goldsmiths' College, London. He is co-editor of 'ITEM' art magazine and co-director of the Espano Agora Capacete in Rio de Janeiro, and Assistant Professor of Art History at the Universidade Estadual do Rio de Janeiro.
