Pennina Barnett is Senior Lecturer at the Department of Visual Arts, Goldsmiths College, University of London. She contributes regularly to art journals, and is co-founder and co-editor of 'Textile: The Journal of Cloth and Culture'. She has written extensively on the work of artist Chohreh Feyzdjou, and is currently writing a book about cloth as a multidimensional metaphor for ideas of subjectivity, materiality, process and language.
