Iniva is planning a Culturally Diverse Arts Professional Network whose members will meet on a monthly basis at Rivington Place. Taking its cue from the legacy of projects such as the Inspire Network, the International Curatorial Arts Forum and Decibel, this new group will provide a sustainable peer-led context for discussion, practice and information sharing and networking.
The format will involve invited guests (artists, curators, funders, educators, directors, journalists, etc.) discussing a project of their choice for 20-30 minutes before opening up for more informal conversation. Iniva's education curator will support the group, helping to pass on contact details and speakers' suggestions, organising hospitality and keeping Network members aware of relevant professional opportunities as they arise.
