Thursdays and Fridays from 25 June - 10 July 2009, 10am-2pm

Taking inspiration from the exhibition Currents of Time: New Work by Zineb Sedira, in the Sonic Windows workshops participants will gather material from the environment to create a film response using photography and sound montage in collaboration with Barbara Lambert and Obinna Nwosu a.k.a. [blon]ds.

Over the two days participants will explore the Shoreditch area to find inspiring images to photograph. The photographs will then become part of a short animated film which will be scored using collected sound recordings. The sound of a car horn could become the rhythm of a background or people waiting in a queue could become the focus of a 3 minute short.

Using the metaphors 'sonic windows' and 'currents of time' participants will have the opportunity to create a short film from a personal perspective.

Available to groups of up to 12 that can commit to both dates - please get in touch to reserve your place.
