Workshop 2: The Mausoleum of Lost Objects

A public workshop with artist Matthew Krishanu invites people to create an artwork in memory of a lost personal object

|

Presented alongside Hew Locke's exhibition, The Kingdom of the Blind, these public workshops invite people of all ages to join Matthew Krishanu in creating artworks in memory of lost or stolen objects that hold particular personal significance. Participants will explore ideas about museum display and commemorative objects, and then explore working with different materials to recreate their lost objects.

These recreations will then be added to a collective memorial - The Mausoleum of Lost Objects - displayed in the Education Space at Rivington Place.

Exhibition: 2-18 October 2008
Public Workshop 1: 4 October 2008
Public Workshop 2: 11 October 2008
