Artist Juan Pablo mainly works with self-portraiture, but for this project he offers you the opportunity to star in your own music video!

Today, more so than ever, people are often plugged into mp3 or cd players, listening to their favourite music and choosing tracks to fit their mood or environment. In effect, the listener becomes the protagonist in their very own live music video without it ever being recorded. A temporal fantasy where the music and the listener's emotions are directly linked.

For this workshop, you are asked to bring along a song and then explore your relationship to it by creating a music video with Juan Pablo. He will take you on a filming journey in Shoreditch to match your song with the emotion it conveys for you.

At the end of the day, you can keep a copy of the music video you collaboratively created with Juan Pablo.
