The distinct zones of contemporary music and cultural theory were blurred by wattUP! (November 2002 - January 2003), the first project in Steve Ouditt's education programme. Through a series of workshops at The Brady Arts and Community Centre in Brick Lane, young participants between the ages of sixteen to twenty were guided by experienced musicians and artists to investigate sound, music and street style in London. Ansuman Biswas - a visual and performance artist, and musician and composer - was the anchor tutor for the project, working alongside visiting artists.
