'Vindaloo and Chips' accompanied the programme around the project Diary of a Victorian Dandy and was the first in a series of discussions about contemporary British culture.
The rather intimate evening where a selection of artists, invited guests and members of the public mulled over the question of what precisely it means to be an artist, young and British.
The event was held at inIVA on 14 October 1998 with David Burrows, Simon Callery, Virginia Nimarkoh, Alistair Raphael, Yinka Shonibare and Simon Tegala discussing the subject.
