In collaboration with the University of Manchester, inIVA, the North West Arts Board, and Cornerhouse, Sonia Boyce was in residence at the University of Manchester.
The 18-month residency - January 1997 to June 1998 - provided the opportunity for Sonia Boyce to develop her artistic practice within a cross-disciplinary academic context.
Her exhibition Performance was held at Cornerhouse. The publication Annotations 2 records and interprets the work produced during the residency.
