In collaboration with the University of Northumbria and Northern Arts, inIVA appointed Peter Suchin as critic in residence to coincide with Visual Arts UK 1996.
The residency intended to provide a critical framework for assessing and disseminating visual art events and activities organised as part of the Year of Visual Arts in the northern region.
