Aylward is a large mixed comprehensive school with around 1,800 pupils, aged 11 - 19, located in Edmonton, North London. The faculty of Art, Design and Technology has three art studios, each with a PC workstation. as well as a scanner and digital camera. The department also has specialist facilities for photography and ceramics with the darkrooms and kiln. The school currently has one computer with a modem connection to the internet in the library. Islingon Green School is an 11-16 mixed comprehensive in the Inner London borough of Islingon, with a population of just over 1000 pupils, coming from the culturally diverse local community. Based on the 6th floor with panoramic views of London, the Art and Design department is resourced with painting, drawing, printmaking, 3D and ceramics facilitities.
