Sarah Jones is a poet, 'spoken word' performer, actor, playwright who lives and works in New York. She participated in the 1997 Nuyorican Poet's Cafe's Grand Poetry Slam Championship and was a 1998 Van Lier literary fellow. Her recent works include a contribution to The Lyricist Lounge hip-hop CD, and work with Nobel Laureate Derek Walcott and musician Paul Simon on the Capeman writing team.
