The City
is a seething mass of undifferentiated parts; people and their lives can
go unrecognised and sometimes remain self-consciously anonymous within
this urban sprawl. Celluloid Cities: Raw and Uncut attempts to
map out the parts of urban experience which have an effect (seen and unseen)
on all our city existences both locally and globally. Images and texts
have been brought together in this space to expose the myriad ways in
which lives have changed during the post-war era.
