Reflexive Disclosure – installation photos

Reflexive Disclosure is an exhibition of photography organised by Fotosynthesis. Work in the show was created by students in collaboration with professional photographers and Iniva are pleased to be hosting the work in our Education Space from 22 – 31 August 2013.

Those exhibiting were encouraged to think critically and ethically about their work. They learned to visually communicate and question their identity and environment, reflecting on their role within the creative practice of photography.

Fotosynthesis is a not-for-profit organisation that uses participatory photography to develop skills, give a voice to people and encourage community cohesion. Visit the Reflexive Disclosure page on our website to find out more about the show and see some of the work.

Here are a few snaps from the installation of the exhibition:

Artists include: Elisabeth Adams, Immanuel Adelowo, Mutiat Adeoshun, Eden Bo Dower, Judith Chinchilla, Kananu Kirimi, Soraya Fernandez DF, Arek Golosz, Jessiane Salgado, Joshua Sanger, Nathaniel Bagot-Sealey, Nathan Taylor and Isabelle Ysabaert.

Watch a lovely short film featuring an interview with one of the artists, Immanuel Alelowo, about the work that Fotosynthesis do and how the organisation have changed his life:
