Esmée Fairbairn Foundation is one of the largest independent grantmaking foundations in the UK, giving grants to organisations aiming to improve the quality of life for people and communities in the UK, both now and in the future.

Esmée Fairbairn has supported an exciting array of new commissions that form an important part of Iniva's strategic engagement with young and emerging artists from a variety of cultural backgrounds helping them to gain greater visibility in the mainstream art world. The commissions and resulting exhibitions support Iniva's audience development goals in the lead up to the launch of Rivington Place.

The Esmée Fairbairn Foundation also generously supported the creation of the vibrant exhibition Alien Nation, touring in the UK from November 2006 through 2007.
