Chairman's Statement

This has been an extraordinarily busy year for inIVA with a host of new artists' commissions and exhibitions, a nationwide programme of talks, two new anthologies and a number of innovative multimedia, education and research projects including a new digital archive. Alongside this impressive programme of artistic activities, the organisation has been developing its joint capital building project with Autograph (ABP), submitting its Development Plan to the Arts Council of England's Capital Programme 2 at the end of 2002.

During the course of the year, the entire inIVA team has worked together seamlessly, demonstrating its unique combination of artistic vision, professional commitment, and quality project management skills. 2002/3 lays the foundation stones for the exciting capital development that lays ahead of the organisation and its potential to reach new audiences with a distinctive programme that bridges diversity at home with diversity abroad.
