Chairman's Statement

As we celebrate our first five years, inIVA renews its commitment to its unique project... This is nothing less that to bring the best in contemporary international art practice, wherever it is produced, to the attention of the widest variety of British audiences and to diversity further mainstream arts organisations in the UK.

1998/99 has been a watershed year in the organisation's development during which we have reviewed and assessed our work over the past five years. We are now in aposition to build on our considerable achievements and the profile of the organisation and its activities in the UK and abroad.
